Podcast re-brand for George Fox Digital

This design concept focuses on biblical imagery to highlight the theological theme of the podcast. Using George Fox University colors, the podcast looks directly connected to the University and recognizable by association. A unique illustrative style differentiates it from current George Fox Digital and University branding.

The majority of the audience of the podcast are former Alumni. The original branding was detailed, bright, and appealed to a younger audience. It reflected the University Community and Inclusion.

George Fox Digital was looking to re-brand its podcast to reflect its scholarly older audience while still reflecting George Fox Digital’s favorite design styles.

George Fox Talks: Original Branding Season 1

Phase 1

Three initial concepts that include logo, cover art, and YouTube thumbnail examples.

The podcast dives into three subtopics: Culture, Theology, Body, and Leadership. The goal was to create a design that was cohesive but differentiated each of the topics.

Phase 2

After multiple meetings with George Fox Digital, and the George Fox University Marketing Department, they agreed they wanted to expand on Design C. They enjoyed the illustrative style but were indecisive about the color palette. By adapting the design to the University branded colors, it allows the Podcast to have it’s own distinctive style but still be associated with the University.
